Crews gain on California wildfire as milder temperatures prevail


LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – California firefighters took advantage of milder temperatures on Wednesday to gain ground on a wildfire that had grown to almost the size of Los Angeles, after officials said it would take until September to fully contain the blaze, the largest in state history.
