Chipmaker Broadcom plans $19 billion deal to buy software company CA


(Reuters) – Broadcom Inc plans to acquire U.S. business software company CA Inc in a $19 billion deal aimed at diversifying Broadcom beyond semiconductors, but Wall Street analysts were immediately skeptical.
